You want to get to know me?
The first thing you should know about me is that I’m a Nintendo fan at heart since the very beginning, or at least since I can remember; that doesn’t mean I just care and pay attention to Nintendo’s side of the Industry though. I also was a die hard Sonic fan back in the 90’s and in a way, I still am today. Though one would say that it’s better to forget about the blue Hedgehog now since all of his recent outings in 3D have been mediocre at best, but I still enjoy them and will keep waiting for that ‘perfect’ game of his.
What else do you should know about me? Let’s see here, I guess you can know about my passion for animation, design and sound. Anything that is visually creative and beautiful will capture my attention and will keep me ready to learn more of whatever it is; another very important thing about me is my love for Video Game Soundtracks, I just can’t get enough of them. They offer something so unique, something so creative that they are just engaging and immersive to listen to.
That’s it for now. I hope you enjoy what The Minus Zone has to offer. Not only do we plan to keep the site with Nintendo related news, but we also plan to focus just as much on Sonic The Hedgehog’s original self; this means his 2D era.

I first started playing video games because of the Blue Blur.
To this day I continue to play video games because of Nintendo.
First off and foremost, I cannot deny that I am, and always will be, a true Blue fan. I grew up with the Hedgehog and I fell in love with the world he lived in. At the same time, over the years I have become a big supporter of the mascot’s once hated enemy: The house that Mario built. A decade ago, this band of Red and Blue would have seemed impossible. How could Mario and Sonic ever come together under one banner? Well, ten years can be a long time, and times have changed. Yeah, Sega isn’t what it used to be, and Nintendo has found some new rivals to contend with.
Still, life goes on, and my admiration for the two rivals continues as to this day. Sonic has struggled in recent years, but there has always been the undeniable excellence found in past adventures. As for Nintendo, well, they can keep doing what they do best. So I suppose that I would like to welcome you to The Minus Zone. Where Sonic’s Zones and Mario’s Worlds come together. It’s the beginning of a beautiful relationship, and I can’t wait to get on board.
Enjoy.
